1. Op dinsdag 25 januari 2005 organiseert de Commissie voor de Biochemie en de Biofysica (CBB) van de KNAW een wetenschappelijke bijeenkomst onder de titel 'Man-Machine Interactions: Interfaces between the brain and the outside world'. 2. BIOMEDEA Conference Eindhoven, the Netherlands, December 17-19, 2004 (See WORD-file distributed on November 26, 2004.)

3. 15e International Biophysics Congress van de IUPAB (International Union of Pure and Applied Biophysics) wordt in 2005 gecombineerd met het 5e European Congress of Biophysics van de EBSA (European Biophysical Societies Association), en gehouden in Montpellier, Frankrijk, van 27 augustus tot 1 september 2005. Er zijn 25 symposia, verdeeld over 8 secties, met 75 sprekers. Inschrijvingskosten bedragen 350 euro; indienen van een abstract voor 15 april 2005. Verder zijn er nog 5 satellietmeetings. 4. 49th annual meeting Biophysical Soc., Long Beach (CA), Febr. 12-16, 2005. preregistration deadline Dec. 10, 2004 - See www.biophysics.org

De sluitingsdatum voor de volgende ronde is 1 juni 2005

6. The Second Announcement of 3rd European Medical & Biological Engineering Conference - EMBEC'05 - Prague, Czech Republic has been released. Registration form, guidelines for abstracts and other relevant information are available on the web page. The non-profit organization EMBEC will sponsor the EMBEC Scientific Award. Details and guidelines can be found in the attachment. Please inform potential candidates, e.g. by forwarding the attachment or making a print-out which may be used for announcement at your scoreboard. See attached pdf-file.
