1. Symposium INSPANNING EN CHRONISCHE ZIEKTEN OP DE KINDERLEEFTIJD in Utrecht op 25 maart 2004
2. Reisbeurs: deadline voor aanvraag is 1 december 2003
3. Dag van de Biofysica en Biomedische Technologie. Deze dag betreft een bijeenkomst voor alle leden van de vereniging. Enerzijds per afdeling parallelle wetenschappelijke sessies, en anderzijds plenaire sessies, met o.a. Dr. Keith Moffatt (Chicago), Dr Roland Eils (Heidelberg) en Dr. Jennifer van Eyk (Ontario). Nu aanmelden (zie web site) voor de bijeenkomst op vrijdag 28 november a.s., georganiseerd door prof. Rienk van Grondelle te Amsterdam.
   Verzoek van de penningmeester: indien men door het instituut laat betalen, laat dan ook duidelijk aangeven voor welke persoon wordt betaald.
4. The MEDICON and HEALTH TELEMATICS 2004 Meeting starting July 31, 2004 in Ischia.
   

1. SYMPOSIUM: INSPANNING EN CHRONISCHE ZIEKTEN OP DE KINDERLEEFTIJD
Op donderdag 25 maart 2004 vind in het Wilhelmina Kinderziekenhuis van het UMC-Utrecht een symposium plaats over inspanning bij kinderwen met een chronisch ziekte. De doelgroep voor deze dag bestaat uit fysiotherapeuten, kinderfysiotherapeuten, revalidatieartsen, kinderartsen, bewegingswetenschappers, sportartsen, studenten en geïnteresseerden.

2. De Vereniging voor Biofysica en Biomedische Technologie verleent steun
aan reizen voor AIO's en postdocs voor het bezoeken van laboratoria ten
behoeven van hun biofysisch en/of biomedisch technologisch onderzoek, tot
een maximum van   €750,- per half jaar. Voor de toekenning zijn voorwaarden
(zie web site) opgesteld. De deadline voor aanvraag is 1 december 2003

op vrijdag 28 november 2003 bij de VU in Amsterdam. Aanmelden via http://www.vvb-bmt.nl.

Tijd: 10:00-17:30.
Kosten Leden VvB-BMT  € 35,
Niet-leden   € 50,
Studenten/promovendi/gepensioneerd  € 15.

4. The MEDICON and HEALTH TELEMATICS 2004 is approaching.
Paper submission and paper revision procedures will be achieved via the web-site http://www.medicon2004.unina.it .
The paper submission deadline is January 15, 2004. Instructions for preparing papers (compliant with IFMBE specification) are already available on the web site. Before submitting a paper, authors must fulfil the preliminary registration via web. By registering you will be advised about any Conference progress.

The Organising Committee is preparing the general skeleton of the Conference and planning different sessions. For a detailed list of the main topics and special sessions, see the attached documents. Colleagues interested in submitting papers within special sessions are kindly requested to contact the Special Session Coordinators, informing also by cc. Prof. Marcello Bracale <bracale@unina.it> .

Some pre-conference meeting will be held before the beginning of the Conference, among which the IFMBE Administrative Council and EAMBES Council meeting. The Opening Ceremony it is planned for Saturday, July 31, 2004 at 6 p.m.
